Snipe Hockey Privacy Policy

Snipe has no account, no server, and no analytics. It does not collect, transmit, or share any information about you. Nothing you do in Snipe leaves your Apple Watch unless you choose to save it to Apple Health, as described below.

Your sessions — shot counts, shot types, the calibration tuned to your motion, your history and totals — are stored on your watch, on the device.

Motion and heart rate

Snipe reads your wrist motion to detect and classify shots, and your heart rate during a session, using the watch's sensors. This happens on the device, in the moment. It is not recorded off the watch and is not sent anywhere.

Apple Health

If — and only if — you grant permission, Snipe saves each session to Apple Health as a workout. That data lives in Apple Health under your control, on your device and in your own iCloud if you have Health sync enabled; we cannot see or access it. You can decline this permission, or revoke it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health, and Snipe still works — it simply won't write workouts.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties, because we do not have any data to share.

Changes to this policy

Any change to this privacy policy will be mentioned in the update notes within the app store.
