Snipe Hockey — Count every shot

Snipe lives on your Apple Watch and counts every hockey shot you take — slap, snap, wrist, and backhand — read straight from the motion of your wrist. No phone in your pocket, no clicker in your glove. Shoot; it counts.

The Snipe puck — an official game puck marked SNIPE

What it does

  • Detects each shot from wrist motion and calls the type — slap, snap, wrist shot, or backhand — with the hardest shot of the session noted in g-force
  • A guided calibration, five shots of each type, tunes detection to your shooting motion — your wrist, your hands, your release
  • A live tally while you shoot: running total, per-type breakdown, heart rate, and calories, with a session summary when you're done
  • History, lifetime totals, and a day streak for anyone chasing the old “500 pucks a day” habit
  • Left and right shots both welcome — set your shooting side once and it's remembered

Your shots stay on your wrist

Snipe has no account, no server, and no analytics. Sessions live on the watch, and are saved to Apple Health as workouts only if you grant permission. The privacy policy says so plainly.

Every rink rat knows the legend: five hundred shots a day, every day, off the garage floor. Snipe is for the ones who actually do it.
