Before you write

Bug reports get fixed faster with a few specifics — which app and version, your device and OS version, what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.

mORK

It won't load my character.

mORK talks directly to the Amtgard ORK, so it needs a data or wifi connection to do anything at all. If you're standing in a field with no signal, that's the usual answer. If you do have signal, check whether the ORK itself is reachable in a browser before writing to us — when the ORK is down, mORK is down.

My login isn't working.

mORK uses your ORK credentials — it has no account system of its own, and we can't see or reset your password. If your login doesn't work on the ORK website, it won't work here either.

What NFC tags should I buy?

The ordinary ones. They look like a plastic employee card, or a small key-fob-sized disc. mORK will write a player's profile to one for you.

Why can't I write NFC tags on my iPhone?

Tag writing is Android-only. Both platforms can scan.

Ultreïa

The arrow points the wrong way.

Almost always a compass calibration issue rather than the app. Move away from anything magnetic — car dashboards and phone cases with magnets are the usual culprits — and wave the watch in a figure-eight. REPLACE IF THAT'S NOT THE ADVICE YOU'D ACTUALLY GIVE.

The distance doesn't match my guidebook.

Ultreïa shows the straight-line, as-the-crow-flies distance, not the walking route. It's a sense of the pull, not turn-by-turn directions — so it'll always read shorter than the stages in your guide.

Does it track me?

No. Your location is used on the device to work out the bearing and never leaves it. See the privacy policy.

Snipe Hockey

It's miscounting my shots, or calling the wrong type.

Run the calibration again. Snipe tunes detection to your motion from five shots of each type — slap, snap, wrist, and backhand — and a fresh calibration is the fix for counts or shot types that feel off. A new stick, a different release, or a different surface can all be worth recalibrating for.

Do I need my iPhone with me?

No. Snipe is a standalone Apple Watch app — there's no iPhone app, and nothing to carry. Just the watch.

It's not registering my shots at all.

Make sure you set your shooting side (left or right) and completed calibration. Beyond that, REPLACE WITH THE REAL FIRST-THING-TO-CHECK — e.g. whether Snipe needs to be the active app, or launched into a session, before it starts counting.

Does it track me?

No account, no server, no analytics. Sessions stay on the watch, and Snipe writes to Apple Health only if you grant permission. See the privacy policy.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us — we have no ability to issue them. For the App Store, use reportaproblem.apple.com. If the reason is a bug, write to us as well, so we can fix it.
